米国の留学生事情

米国国際教育研究所（Institute of International Education)は11月16日、留学生に関する年次報告書「Open Doors 2009」を発表。報告書によると、2008年秋に入学した留学生数は前年度と比較して15.8％増加し、全体の留学生数は前年度より7.7％増加で過去最多の67万1616人となりました。また、留学生出身地のトップ5はインド、中国、韓国、カナダ、日本で、それぞれ増加率が9.2％、21.1％、8.6％、2.2％、-13.9％で。
