米国のアジア政策

７月22日、クリントン国務長官はタイのプーケットで東南アジア諸国連合（ASEAN）の会議に出席し、東南アジア友好協力条約加盟議定書に署名。米国とインドは７月20日、クリントン国務長官のインド訪問（17〜21日）において共同声明を発表、米印戦略パートナーシップの拡大を約束。インド、タイ訪問に関する情報は下記のサイトを参照。
